Bonjour, my name is Véronique Dufresne but most people call me Vé (rhymes with “hey”). I’m a therapist with over 6 years of experience passionate about helping individuals and families overcome challenging life changes, thoughts, feelings, situations and memories. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, self-esteem, trauma or other challenges, I'll work with you to develop a treatment plan tailored to your specific needs and goals. 


In my therapeutic practice, I strive to ensure that my approach is personalized, supportive, creative and compassionate. It is important to me that we collaborate to develop a treatment plan tailored to your needs and goals, reflective of your unique personality and lived experience. I believe that every person deserves a safe and supportive space to courageously explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.  


I utilize evidence-based techniques such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), and Arts-Based Mindfulness to help my clients develop skills and insights to overcome obstacles and build a rich full and meaningful life.
