Calgary Therapy Services

Part-Time Position

Registered Psychologist or Masters of Social Work

Calgary Therapy Services is a boutique private therapy practice looking for a highly skilled and experienced mental health professional. The current demand for our services has outgrown the capacity of our team and we are looking at expanding again. We believe in exceptional client care and trauma-informed treatment and are seeking like-minded individuals to join as an independent contractor.

The current position available is for a Registered Psychologist or Master’s of Social Work clinician who can provide service for in-person and virtual sessions. This position is part-time availability for minimum 10 sessions per week (including at least one evening a week consistently). Following an agreed upon minimum number of sessions per week, you are welcome to work more if you choose as your caseload and retention builds.

We believe in honoring work and family balance, and helping therapists do the work they love without extra stress or bureaucracy. Calgary Therapy Services values helping clients understand the root of their difficulties through attachment-based and trauma informed care, allowing clinicians to practice and provide service based on the client need.

Calgary Therapy Services pays out based on a percentage split of the independent contractor rate ranging from $110 - $141/hour per client session (depending on the client fee/format of session/length of time with practice). Calgary Therapy Services covers all client referrals, advertising and marketing, office space, administrative costs such as website, Jane Booking System, email, wifi, payment system, billing etc.

As an independent contractor, you are not responsible for your own independent marketing unless you wish to build your caseload faster.
